Steads Haulage

Steads Haulage is a £2.5 million turnover road haulage business built on reputation and good service. When the recession hit, they decided to buck the trend and develop their marketing strategy instead of sitting back like many of their competitors and go the same way; out of business.

Their old website was functional and a great place to find information, but only if you could find it which, was part of the problem, so it generated less than 2 leads per month for the business.

We launched their new website in July 2009 and generated 156 leads in the space of 2 months, 124 requests for more information on the company and 77 requests to contact the prospect by phone to discuss quoting for work.

If they had received this amount of leads in the past, their small management team would have been overrun and not able to cope without taking on more administrators. We don’t like growing headcount and they didn’t want to spend any extra potential profits on wages, so we integrated Infusionsoft automated marketing and customer relationship management software into their website.

This enabled them to assess the value of the leads automatically, have hot prospects guided through an automated account opening and welcome process and automate their quoting process as well as other administrative processes.

Nottingham Rugby Club

Insight to Impact have been appointed to help promote Nottingham Rugby Club with a view to helping them gain promotion to the Premiership Rugby League.

Nottingham have been performing well and finishing in the top four of their league for the last two years and need to invest in the club to be able to acquire the players they need to get promotion.

So in order to generate the revenues to achieve their goals, Insight to Impact have built a brand new Ecommerce website for them through which to drive ticket & merchandise sales, sponsorship and networking events.

We have also segmented their database and are in the process of automating their marketing machine so that fans get regular updates about matches and receive Emails with ‘Buy Now’ links embedded within them to make it easier than ever to follow the team and attend every game.

We will shortly be commencing with video testimonials which will be on the website as well as embedded in Emails as part of their marketing strategy.

The IDM Group

The IDM group are a leadership and management training company who want to grow their business without increasing their administrative headcount.

Their marketing had been run internally through traditional methods such as mass mail shots to more than10,000 contacts per month through data lists bought from data houses.

This method of marketing combined with phone follow up translated into 5 new leads per month from the activity of two full time employees and loads of wasted letters and time.

Insight to Impact ran a trial for IDM and generated 8 leads in 8 days from the internet with no human interaction and a cost of lead which was seven thousandths of the cost of their previous lead generation strategy.

King of Extreme Sports

King of Extreme sports provides an internet portal where adventure and extreme sports fanatics can review and book blood curdling experiences and adventures.

Insight to Impact helped a well published journalist monetise his relationships with his readers and his relatively well known brand as a sports writer by designing a business model where fans can actually have the same experiences as are written about in national publications.

King of Extreme Sports takes a fee from each booking and is now building the capability to review and sell the equipment required to participate in the sports as well as the events themselves, helping to generate further revenue streams.
